"The best home couture evocates nice images. That’s why I often wear shorts – lounging in them makes me feel like I could be somewhere in the Caribbean. To restrain my imagination I do use woollen socks with shorts. They bring in the realism required by the Finnish winter. However the essence of my style is the wife-beater, which I only take off under ”special circumstances”. Tank top is of course warn by every great man from the ancient times to the classic Italian-Americans. My home couture idol The Dude inspired me to crown my style with a bathrobe."

The knit's also selfmade, maybe by some old lady, before she got sick of it and decided to give it away. It cost me a few euros. When it comes to feet and toes I prefer layers, usually three to four layers at home. Luckily my dear grandmother is quite productive and I own a basketful of woollen socks. I don't abandon them until it's really summer - and toe time."

This kind of slack type demands some extra awareness of how to sit on the sofa when we have guests."

Lantiosta ylöspäin neljä kerrosta villaa tai akryylisekoitetta on hyvä kombo, lantiosta alaspäin suosin yhdistelmää alkkarit+sukkikset+pitkät kalsarit+lököhousut. Käyttäisin näitä fantsuja American Apparel -haaremihousuja myös kotioven ulkopuolella, jos pyllyni ei ne päällä näyttäisi ulottuvan polvitaipeeseen. Mielestäni on hyvä, jos vaatteet päällä pystyy hyppäämään parvekkeelta alas ilman että sattuu."

"I like warm. At the moment the temperature in my flat is about +14 degrees. That´s why this winter different kinds of layers has been my inspiration. Four layers of wool or acrylic at the top is an ok combo. For the lower parts I like the combination: panties + stockkings + long johns + home pants. I´d use these fantastic harem pants from American Apparel also outdoors, if my bottom wouldn´t happen to look like it spans all the way down to the kneecaps. I think the clothes area great if you can jump down from the balcony and you don´t hurt yourself."

"My Home Couture statement is to be uninhibited and versatile. Here for example I have combined Armani entrelac knitted jacket with pyjamas pants my wife got for christmas from my mother-in-law. With combining different checked patterns I want to comment the trend of mixing prints in an innovative way. Black in the shirt and socks balance the look. Also note the looseness of the fabric both in lower end of the sleeves and in the pants. I usually wear black socks to allow beige dog hair to create random patterns on the fabric surface."
